Memories begin when I look through the camera. Since 1982, I've been providing memorable photography throughout Alabama and the Southeast. My clients are looking for a studio that can provide editorial, artistic, and traditional images in color and black and white.
My idea of photography is capturing the life, feel, and emotions of your event and/or portrait session. To really show this style I use high-resolution digital and medium format cameras, lenses, and lighting that set me apart from other photographers. Editorial photography represents a natural shot taken at a decisive moment that shows the true feeling of the subject. An example of my editorial style can be found on this page.
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
I started with my father in his photography business in 1982. Because of his training and knowledge of the craft I have been able to create my own style.
My work has been published nationally in such magazines as People and Vintage Guitar. Among the celebrities that I have provided headshot photography for include Jeff Carlisi (formerly of 38 Special), Nancy Atchinson, "Prince of Tides", "Fried Green Tomatoes" and also Bill Cowart who played in "Under Siege". I was awarded "The Photographer of the Year" by the Montgomery Professional Photographers Association for two consecutive years.
